Research projects
Establishment of a medical rescue service for Bolivia and Peru
With develoPPP.de, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development supports the private sector in projects where entrepreneurial opportunities and developmental aid meet. In this way, new markets can be opened up in the long term and the living conditions of local people improved.
The aim is to structurally improve rescue services in Peru and Bolivia. This includes the establishment of central rescue control centres and the introduction of certified training courses to qualify rescue service specialists.
5G technologies in the rescue chain
This project is primarily concerned with improving communication and data exchange between first responders, rescue service, control centre and clinic, and also with optimal networking by the individual players in the rescue chain. Innovative solutions are to be created using 5G mobile communications technology.
